The Turkish Language Program for Public Officials and Academicians of Turkic World (KatipAta) serves as a beacon of cultural exchange and linguistic immersion for international public officials, diplomats, academicians, and researchers. The program offers participants a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Turkish language and culture while strengthening ties between Türkiye and their respective nations.
KatipAta, which was initiated by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) in 2025, will host participants from 4 countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan).
The mission of KatipAta is to establish solid communication networks by strengthening the connections between Türkiye and the Turkic world. The program offers immersive experiences that go beyond language training and provide insights into Turkish culture and society. Participants benefit from enlightening seminars led by distinguished professors and fascinating cultural tours of Türkiye's diverse geographies. These experiences provide participants with an intimate understanding of Türkiye's vibrant cultural scene.
In addition, KatipAta fosters meaningful interactions with public institutions, think tanks, media outlets, and universities. Participants have the chance to engage in cross-cultural dialogue and establish long-term partnerships through collaborative events and short-term internship opportunities. This fosters sustainable cooperation between nations across various sectors.
